Dear 22nd SS Alumni, Rovers and Friends 

Like many of you, I spent 15 formative years with 22nds Sea Scout Troop, and we could probably all attest to the life-changing impact 22SS has had on young people over the decades. Through those years, we not only learned essential boating and scouting skills but also developed critical life skills. The experiences we gained—both on the water and in the wilderness— has shaped us to be more confident, resourceful, and capable people. This resourcefulness, resilience and leadership is evident in so many of our stories: whether it be an industry leader in finance, captaining yachts across the world or Marc Germiquet’s epic row across the Atlantic (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aShIDEnI6VA)... or simply living life fully, 22SS has enriched our lives.
