Devin's Comeback

Devin, our 34 year old brave and courageous nephew, loving son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend was diagnosed with a rare form of lung cancer in December 2024, NUT Squamous Cell Lung Cancer, stage 3b with an 8cm tumour pushing against his heart.  He is a medical anomoly as patients don't represent with this kind of cancer at his age, especially given the fact that he does not smoke and leads a fit and healthy lifestyle. A devastating blow to all of us, most especially Devin as what doctor's originally thought was bronchitis proved to be more severe.  Devin has no financial ability to access private medical insurance to help him pay for the treatment required. To date, he has undergone investigative procedures and one cycle of chemotherapy treatment, funded by his savings with help from his family.  In due course radiation therapy will also be added to his treatment protocol. Unfortunately, keeping up with the cost of life saving treatment, blood tests and scans is proving to be prohibitive and Devin, while positive,  knows he has a long road ahead.  As a...
