The Story

In South Africa, over 60% of young people are unemployed — many lack access to the most basic technology and education needed to succeed in today’s digital world. These talented youth are full of potential but face barriers that trap them in poverty.

At Binary Minds, we believe that access to technology and digital skills training can change lives. That’s why we’re creating an open-plan digital skills hub where underprivileged youth can come to learn coding, graphic design, digital marketing, freelancing, and more — all for free.

We will equip this space with donated computers, provide high-speed internet, and offer hands-on training delivered by passionate mentors. Our goal is to empower 100+ youth each year, giving them a real chance to break the cycle of poverty through meaningful work or entrepreneurship.
