About This Campaign
The UCT Underwater Club will be hosting its annual Diver 24 fund raiser on 6th of April 2024 at the Two Oceans Aquarium! During this event we will have divers rotating in and out of the I&J Ocean Exhibit for 24 hours straight.
All donations will be split between two programs. The first is to The Two Oceans Aquarium’s Turtle Conservation Center - a much beloved initiative. The money raised will cover the turtle’s rehabilitation and release, and ensure the protection of this endangered species.
The second program the donations will be used for, is to sponsor 50 grade 8 and 9 learners from under-resourced schools on a Marine Sciences course to help prepare them for an ocean-related career and help develop them into our future leaders.
