Diver24: Supporting Marine Wildlife & Education

Diver24: Raising money for the Marine Wildlife Management Fund and Marine Science Courses at the 2 Oceans Aquarium

The UCT Underwater Club will be hosting its annual Diver 24 fundraiser on 18th of April 2026 at the Two Oceans Aquarium! During this event we will have divers rotating in and out of the I&J Ocean Exhibit for 24 hours straight. 

All donations will be going to The Two Oceans Aquarium Foundation and split between two programs. The first is to The Two Oceans Aquarium’s Wildlife Management Fund - a much beloved initiative. The management fund aims to protect the wildlife in human dominated areas, and monitor the interactions between the urban and wild sectors. There is a team of wildlife monitors and specialists that we are raising funds to support. 

The second program the donations will be used for, is to sponsor 40 grade 8 and 9 learners from under-resourced schools on a Marine Sciences course to help prepare them for an ocean-related career and help develop them into our future leaders.
