Our hearts are broken as we share the difficult news that our dearest mother, Magrietha Breitenbach, aged 68, has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. The cancer is present in both lungs and has spread to her kidneys and lymph nodes.

Magrietha is a loving wife, a devoted mother of three, and a proud grandmother to five precious grandchildren. She is deeply loved by her family, and we want nothing more than to give her the love, care, support and treatment she needs during this incredibly difficult time.

As our family begins to navigate this heartbreaking journey, we are also faced with the overwhelming financial burden that comes with her diagnosis. Unfortunately, medical aid does not cover all the necessary treatments, medications and oxygen equipment she needs.

The medical bills have already started pouring in, and the expenses are expected to reach approximately R90,000 for now.
