Save Stirling Legacy House
Fighting for a legacy to continue.
For more than 24 years, this beautiful property in Stirling Street, Waverley has been more than just a bed and breakfast. It has been a place of rest, connection, creativity and belonging.
It was lovingly built and cared for by David and Joanina Pastoll. David, the heart and caretaker of 10 Stirling, passed away in 2018. Through the relationships he built over decades, the B&B continued to welcome guests through loyalty and word of mouth until 2024.
When Joanina became ill, and after her passing in February 2025, the property was forced to close for most of 2024 and all of 2025.
At the beginning of 2026, I reopened the B&B as Stirling Legacy House, with a simple dream: to preserve everything that made this place so special while creating a welcoming home for creative professionals, travellers, artists and our local community.
In just four months, that dream has already begun to come alive.
