Drive for sight for Marinel

Marinel is 12 years old and has beautiful blue/green eyes. She is a vibrant, full-of-life young girl with her whole life ahead of her, and she loves dancing, acrobatics, hip-hop, netball, hockey, horse riding, and spending time with those she loves.

Marinel had a severe eye infection that was mistreated when she was five years old. She has lost sight in her left eye and needs a cornea transplant. She also needs to wear glasses for now in school; so her right eye doesn't get as tired. 

To get to that point of the transplant, we need to see Dr Heydenrych and Dr Laas in Cape Town / Durbanville which is about +-500km from us. We have already been to numerous specialists and doctors close to us, and they all say that they are not able to assist her.

Dr Heydenrych and Dr Laas are in Durbanville and they are doing fantastic with the treatment. 

There is a follow up every 3 months that needs to be attended.
