About This Campaign
We, the members of Sonop Christelike Tehuis, will be embarking on our biennial cycle tour to generate funds for the less privileged. Our goal is to help those who do the Lord’s work by supporting an orphanage (Ringerstraat Orphanage in Heilbron) which provides comfort and safety to children from vulnerable backgrounds. The orphanage is part of Engo, a non-profit, non-governmental welfare organisation that primarily operates in the Free State.
Our group will consist of 50 students from the University of Pretoria. They will embark on a 5-day campaign starting in Brooklyn, Pretoria, and travel approximately 540 km .We will stay in Heidelberg, Heilbron, Bethlehem, and Clarens.
This campaign is a tradition that started in 1965, with the purpose of giving back to the community and acknowledging the good we can cause through the strength of our Lord.
