My Triathlon journey started in 2018 where I started doing races and then later did my first 70.3 Ironman in East London 2019 and then 70.3 Ironman Mossel Bay 2023. I come from a running background and have completed Comrades Marathon in 2003 and Two Oceans Marathon in 2024.
As a family we moved to the Garden Route and I joined the local triathlon group Eden Triathlon where we compete in various disciplines and started competing in triathlon and duathlon in 2023, I was selected to go to the SA Champs in 2024 and I won my age category in July 2024.
It has been my dream to compete on the world stage and now at age 59 I have he opportunity to do just that.
I was selected in October 2024 by Triathlon SA to represent South Africa in the World Championship in Spain 2025, as TSA does not assist in any expenses not even SA colors and the kit, I therefore need funding to make the dream a reality as I myself are not able to fund this.
