Eezo the blind dj

My name is Raeez Kuhn, better known as Eezo the Blind DJ. I was born on 13 March 1996, and my life changed forever when I lost my eyesight at just two years old — only a few days after my father passed away in a tragic car accident.

Doctors said an operation might have restored my vision, but my mother couldn’t afford it at the time. As the years passed, the cataracts spread, and by the time surgery was possible again, the risks were too high — it was a matter of life or death. So I learned to live in darkness… but that darkness soon became the spark that lit up my greatest passion — music.

As a child, I was drawn to the sound of radio. I’d spend hours listening to music and mixes, fascinated by how DJs blended songs so seamlessly. That’s when I told myself: “One day, I’m going to be a DJ.”
But a question haunted me — how can a blind person ever DJ?
