Elijah Deacon is our son, he is a little brother, who at just one year old is facing a challenge due to a condition called Arthrogryposis. This rare condition affects all four of his limbs, resulting in limited movement and muscle weakness, a burden he bravely carries every day.

Arthrogryposis which causes joints to become permanently fixed in bent or straight positions, severely limiting their function and range of motion. In Elijah's case, his arms bear the brunt of this condition; they lack significant movement, unable to bend, while his wrists are bent inward, and his fingers remain weak and straight.

In addition, one of his legs has suffered a dislocation at the pelvis, while his legs are locked straight and also has clubfoot. This disorder mainly manifests itself through joint contractures, causing stiffness and muscle weakness, further complicating Elijah's mobility and comfort.
