Stand with Emily-Grace as She Battles Cerebral Palsy, Hearing & Vision Loss, and Seeks Life-Changing Treatment❗

Our Beautiful Warrior, Emily-Grace, entered the world two weeks early on 11 December 2024 in an unplanned home birth. What followed was a fight for survival — and a journey of courage, faith, and hope.

🩺 The Diagnosis
Shortly after birth, Emily-Grace was diagnosed with Congenital Cytomegalovirus (CMV), a virus with lifelong consequences that can affect hearing, vision, and neurological development. She spent three weeks in NICU on oxygen support, antibiotics, and feeding support. Early scans showed two small ventricular bleeds and a lesion on the occipital lobe — the part of the brain responsible for vision.

She began antiviral treatment, followed by six months of oral antivirals. Multiple blood tests, hearing assessments, and neurological monitoring have followed ever since.
