My name is Emma Williams, and I am 16 years old. I have always loved participating in sports and have represented my school, as well as my province in both swimming and field hockey.
I have been chosen by a panel of professional selectors based on my performance at The Top 12 Schools tournament to play in the Netherlands later this year, where we will compete in a number of matches, as well as be trained by some of the best in the world. This opportunity is more than just a game; it is a chance for me to immerse myself in a rich cultural experience, make lifelong memories, and foster international friendships, learning from some of the best in the world, as well as to represent our rainbow nation with pride, and I might even get a chance to watch my role-model, Yibbi Jansen, Dutch international and professional player compete in person....that would be more than a dream come true.
