I am a 21-year-old law student from Gauteng whose lifelong dream was made possible by UFS and NSFAS. In 2025, my health took a devastating turn when I was diagnosed with Endometriosis and Polycystic Ovary Syndrome. The pain, hospital visits, and emotional toll affected my academic performance, and despite explaining this in my appeal, NSFAS declined to fund me.
