In Lesotho, rural communities like Lipetu face challenges such as limited access to energy, education, and sustainable livelihoods. LECOFI is working to address these issues by integrating renewable energy, promoting sustainable agriculture, and providing digital tools to empower schools and households. Through a holistic approach, we are creating a model for lasting change that can scale to other communities across Lesotho.

The Challenge

Lipetu’s school and households struggle with poor access to energy, inefficient farming practices, and a lack of digital tools. These gaps limit educational opportunities, economic growth, and overall community well-being. Without intervention, these challenges perpetuate poverty and hinder progress.
