My name is Veeni Ramsamy and I am a single Mom to two wonderful girls.

 

Erin is my eldest daughter, she is 10 years old and was diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary hypertension.  Her pulmonary pressures have increased despite medical treatment and she is currently in right sided heart failure. She has been listed for a heart and lung transplant and we are hopeful that she will get a new heart and lungs but reliase that time is limited. To add to Erin's medical issues, she was recently diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes that we manage with insulin.

The reason I am doing this fundraising is to allow me the grace to spend the little time I have left with my child rather than working constantly to pay my rent and put food on the table. I also have to pay for a caregiver, Erin's meds and transport to the hospital twice a week. Erin stays at home with a caregiver as she is too sick to attend school and I would love to...
