Errol Allwright Kidney Fund

Errol is known as a very strong, reliable and true friend to all. He is a step-father to two children and the love of my life. Errol has a medical aid, but we are still on the waiting period (12 months for Kidney related). In early March 2023 Errol was in terrible pain and went to the ER. After tests and scans were done, it was confirmed that he had a 7mm kidney stone. This is not new to us as he has undergone various treatments and operations of the same nature before. However this time he had to go through a state hospital where they inserted a stent to relief pressure on the kidney. We were told to come back after four weeks where after they never put him on the theater list to remove the stent. We are from Bethlehem and had to drive to Bloemfontein at our own costs. We were given a new date (also 4 weeks later) and upon our arrival and eight hours of sitting at the clinic, we were informed that there are no available Urologists to assist.
