Hi, my name is Ethan Sharples and I am currently raising funds to help cover the costs of travelling to Cape Town to compete in the 2026 SA Champs Bodyboarding Competition.

I am proud to be representing the eThekwini team this year.

Bodyboarding has become a huge part of my life. It gives me a way to clear my head, relieve stress and express myself in a way that I struggle to find anywhere else. I spend a lot of my time riding socially, encouraging the people around me and helping others grow their confidence in the sport.

One of my biggest goals is to keep progressing in bodyboarding so that I can inspire other riders, especially younger riders, to get out there, give it a go and experience the same freedom and enjoyment that the sport has given me.

Getting to SA Champs would mean a huge amount to me, and any support towards helping me get to Cape Town would be genuinely appreciated.
