I recently had to scale my medical aid down to a hospital plan because I could no longer afford the monthly premiums. This made me loose my optometry benefit which was catastrophic as I have very weak eyes and have been wearing glasses since I was 10.
I am unable to afford the cash payment to have my glasses updated to the new prescription and without them I can not function at all. Any help towards paying my optometry bill will be highly appreciated.
