Every Drop of Water Counts

In the rural heart of Mangoloenje, in the extremely hot and resilient community of Chikwawa District, hope has been taking root—quite literally. Four years ago, FCM began an agricultural initiative on a humble patch of land generously gifted by Chief Roderick. What started as a small beginning has now blossomed into a thriving 2-hectare cooperative farm, nourished by dedication, community spirit, and the promise of a better future.

FCM (Family Care Ministries) has continued to walk alongside the farmers, supplying water pumps that have helped transform dry soil into fields of maize, sorghum, and other essential crops. The impact has been nothing short of remarkable. From an initial group of just 60 determined individuals, the cooperative now supports over 450 beneficiaries, including families, elderly community members, and child-headed households who rely on these harvests not only for food, but for dignity and survival.
