Every Hand Helps

Baby R was placed in child protection services with us. Her biological mother was incarcerated and then released. She has made no contact with social services, and they have been unable to trace her. Baby R is now abandoned. We are looking after her in a loving and safe environment while Social Services seeks more permanent care.

We run a place of safety called Atlantic Hope. Babies placed in our temporary safe care have either been removed from their parental care due to abuse/neglect, abandoned or awaiting adoption. There is dire need to bring more vulnerable babies into safety. We provide a loving home and all that they need to be raised in the absence of their parents, which is not what nature intended. 

There is dire need throughout the Western Cape to help the most vulnerable members of society, ‘our babies’.
