About This Campaign

My name is Miki, and I was born with Fibular hemimelia, which resulted in both of my legs being amputated around the age of one.
Throughout my life, I’ve been blessed with amazing doctors and the most supportive mom, who always found a way to ensure that I could walk. Thanks to them, I’ve had the chance to grow, learn, and live as fully as possible.
Now, as I approach 30, my needs are changing. I require more permanent prosthetics that can carry me into the next chapter of my life. These legs must be durable and strong enough to support my active lifestyle, while lasting much longer, with only service and maintenance needed over time.
I live a healthy and active life, and I’m committed to taking care of my body so that I never lose the ability to move. I love boxing and train regularly with a great group at my local gym. Movement is more than just exercise for me - it’s freedom, independence, and dignity.
