Eyes in the Sky for Our Last Rhinos

Hello, I’m Justin Terblanche (27), known as the "Rhino Whisperer" in South Africa’s Eastern Cape. Growing up in Patensie and Humansdorp, I developed a deep love for nature and wildlife—one that has shaped my life’s mission to protect rhinos.

That passion led me to a career in anti-poaching, and meeting my first rhino sealed my commitment. Today, as the co-founder of Rhino Whisperers NPC, I fight daily to ensure these incredible creatures have a future free from fear.

Rhinos are being pushed to the brink of extinction, with their numbers having dropped by over 90% in recent decades. They’re targeted relentlessly by poachers, slaughtered for their horns. These gentle giants play a crucial role in their ecosystem, and losing them would leave an irreplaceable void in the natural world.
