Hi, my name is Theuns, and together with my wife, Chanté, we are asking for your help in the biggest journey of our lives—the journey to become parents.

Like many couples, we always imagined that having children would happen naturally. We dreamed about hearing tiny footsteps in our home, celebrating birthdays, reading bedtime stories, and watching our children grow. But life had a different plan for us.

After years of heartache and unanswered questions, we discovered that our only realistic chance of having a family is through IVF (In Vitro Fertilisation). Since then, our lives have revolved around doctor appointments, blood tests, scans, medications, procedures, and emotional highs and lows that are difficult to put into words.

Our first embryo transfer filled us with hope. We finally saw a positive pregnancy test, and for a brief moment, it felt as though our prayers had been answered. We allowed ourselves to dream about the future and the child we already loved so deeply.
