VUSA 24-Hour Cycle Challenge: Ride for Opportunity

The VUSA 24-Hour Cycle Challenge is not your average fundraiser; it’s a test of endurance, unity, and the power of community. Over the course of 24 hours, hundreds of cyclists, ranging from seasoned athletes to school kids, take turns riding static bikes in a non-stop relay to raise critical funds for the VUSA Rugby and Learning Academy.

But this event is about far more than fitness.

VUSA Rugby and Learning Academy, based in Langa, Cape Town, works with children aged 4 to 13, running daily early learning, academic, rugby, and psychosocial programmes that open doors to opportunity.
