Fifth Order Robotics Team Represent SA in America

We are writing to you not only as a robotics team, but as a group of young learners with big dreams, strong determination, and a deep belief that education can change lives.

The Fifth Order Robotics Team from Hoërskool Waterkloof is made up of matric students who have spent countless hours after school, on weekends, and during holidays building something far greater than a robot — we have been building confidence, teamwork, resilience, and hope for our future.

Many of our team members come from families who cannot easily afford the costs of robotics equipment, travel, and competitions. Despite this, we refused to give up on our passion. We saved money, used personal resources, and worked tirelessly to keep our dream alive. Every bolt tightened, every line of code written, and every challenge overcome has been a testament to our determination.
