Fight 4 Life

17th April 2024 changed my life. I got up in the morning, my breast hurt and then I felt a lump. I made an appointment with my general GP, where she examined me and sent me for a mammogram.

Mammogram was done and a sonar was also done the same day. I was scared as hell because I knew I was going to hear something I never wanted to know. The lady who did the sonar video called the doctor and that's how the news broke that I had cancer in both my breasts. I was diagnosed with xxx Negative High Risk breast cancer. Carpet was pulled out from under my feet.

And there my jouney began. It's blood draw, scans and chemo.  I was then referred to an oncologist and he told me we have to do chemo so that the lump in my breast can shrink and then after that we have to do a mastectomy.

A week later I told my children about the lump and that I have cancer and the 1st thing my little daughter asked me: "Is mommy going to die now"
