Creating a Safe Space to Heal, Regulate and Learn

Help us create a Silent Group Sandplay room at Flamboyant School in White River, Mpumalanga.

Every child deserves the opportunity to learn, feel understood and reach their potential. But for many children at remedial schools, barriers to learning extend far beyond academics.

At Flamboyant School, we support children with a range of academic, developmental, emotional, behavioural and social challenges. Often, what we see in the classroom is only the visible part of a much bigger picture.

A child who struggles to concentrate may be overwhelmed. A child who becomes frustrated easily may be struggling to regulate their emotions. A child who appears withdrawn may be carrying experiences they don't yet have the words to express.

We believe Silent Group Sandplay can offer these children another way to communicate, process and regulate.
