For Jarred: The Gift of Time Together ❤️

A story of an incredible young man, fighting for his life at just 27 years old.

Jarred is the youngest brother of one of my dearest friends. A young man whose humour, intelligence, strength and love know no bounds.

After completing his degree in Bachelor of Social Sciences, majoring in Psychology and Business Management Jarred set off to Germany to further his studies, earning the opportunity to stay, work and continue pursuing his dream of completing his Master's degree in Germany, in 2027.

He left behind everything familiar, including the people he loves most, determined to build a future for himself. And goodness, has he made us all so incredibly proud.

But at the beginning of 2026, everything changed.

What started as severe back pain eventually left Jarred unable to walk. The devastating news that followed was a diagnosis of Stage 4 Ewing sarcoma, an aggressive form of cancer that has spread to his lungs and liver and bones.
