Critical father

Hello,

I'm Bernice Otto, and I'm reaching out with a heavy heart.

My father is currently experiencing excruciating pain in his abdomen due to a burst stomach ulcer, which has led to severe sepsis. The situation is dire, as the food that spilled into his stomach through the hole has caused complications, filling his abdomen and exacerbating his condition.

Despite undergoing a successful operation to mend the hole in his stomach, he continues to fight for his life against the infection. He is currently admitted in the ICU, where he urgently needs proper medical care. However, our family's savings have been depleted, leaving us in a difficult financial situation.

Unfortunately, the road to recovery is long, and my father drastically needs ongoing specialised medical attention. The prospect of having to move him to a government hospital due to our financial constraints is heart-wrenching, especially after the tragic loss of our mother at a young age.
