Fuel the Wave

Jozi Rapids Football Club is a structured youth football development programme aimed at addressing the socio-economic challenges faced by the boy child in South Africa, particularly in township and under-resourced communities.
The programme will use football as a tool for development, combining elite football training with education support, life skills development, mentorship, and psychosocial support. The initiative targets boys aged 10–19 years, a critical developmental stage where many young males are vulnerable to school dropout, crime, substance abuse, unemployment, and negative social influences.
Through strategic support and funding, the project seeks to create a safe, disciplined, and aspirational pathway that nurtures both sporting excellence and responsible citizenship, while promoting social cohesion and long-term community upliftment.
