Fuelling the Fire is a South African documentary in production that explores the perspectives of activists, community members, and experts who are raising ethical and human rights concerns about South Africa’s coal exports and their international impact.
The film brings together diverse voices, including legal professionals, solidarity organisations, displaced families, mining communities, and Jewish and Palestinian human rights advocates, to encourage informed public dialogue on a complex and highly debated issue.
Our team has been filming with no external funding, and we now need support to complete post-production, final edits, outreach, and community screenings. Your contribution will help us finish the film and share these important stories with a wider audience.
Thank you for supporting independent South African storytelling that promotes transparency, dialogue, and human rights awareness.
