Fundraising for Elna’s Frail Care

Hi everyone,

I'm reaching out to you with a heartfelt plea for assistance. My mom, my beloved role model and a retired teacher who dedicated her life to shaping young minds, is facing an incredibly tough battle with dementia.

At 75 years young, my mom has always been the epitome of strength and compassion. Throughout her career, she touched the lives of countless children, nurturing them with knowledge, kindness, and unwavering dedication. Inspired by her passion for education, I too followed in her footsteps.

However, in February of 2023, our world was shaken when she received the diagnosis of dementia. Since then, her decline has been rapid, robbing her of memories and moments she cherished. Despite her resilience, the challenges posed by this cruel disease have taken a toll on her and our family.

She is under the care of the amazing staff at Kendrick House retirement home: she is happy, physically healthy, and well-cared for. We would like to raise funds for Kendrick House as we go into the harsh winter to assist them in providin...
