From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for all the prayers, love, and support from our family, friends, and everyone who truly cares.

We are still taking it day by day. Some days are good, and some days are harder. Leané is working incredibly hard to stay positive, even on the days when we can see she is really battling.

We continue to keep our faith strong, because with God, anything is possible. The prayers, love, and support from family and friends have been overwhelming, and we are so deeply grateful.

I am staying positive and trusting that we will reach our goal.

Leané has had a special eye test, which showed that the pressure in her brain is too low. She will be seeing the specialist on 25 February 2026 to assess how the operation went and to determine why the brain pressure remains low. As we move forward, I will continue to keep everyone informed.

At this point, the medical costs are overwhelming. We are now nearing R280,000 in total for doctors’ fees and procedures.Read More
