Dear family, friend and supporter

My name is Isaac Kaiso, a 22-year-old student, poet, writer, basketball player from Kamuli, Uganda. Last year i got a chance to be accepted to study Aerospace Engineering at Clarkson University in Postdam New York. one of the top 25 STEM schools in USA. 

Growing up, i have always adored and embraced aerospace engineering. From origami's to fractures at 10, while trying to test parachutes that i made from scratch. My location has been a big factor to me as a dreamer, it has felt impossible to make it this far. Kamuli is one of the small towns in Uganda and access to even the knowledge about Clarkson University has been a privilege that lies in research and zeal to be the change. My father always told me to look beyond and i have tried my best not to fail him.

At 12, I unfortunately lost him to peptic ulcers and since he was the bread winner at home, the weight shifted to my mom and me.
