Gauteng Debating Fundraiser

Each year, Gauteng Debating sends a team of exceptional young debaters to represent our province at the South African National Schools' Debating Championship. This year, the championship will be held in Makhanda, Eastern Cape, and our team is eager to compete at this prestigious event.

However, the cost for each student to attend Nationals is a steep R8 000, which covers accommodation, food, tournament registration, and transport to the Eastern Cape. We believe that financial constraints should not stand in the way of these talented students representing Gauteng on the national stage, and that’s why we are raising funds to ensure every debater has the opportunity to participate.
