Every day, thousands of young South Africans are exposed to gender-based violence, unhealthy relationship dynamics, harmful gender stereotypes, and limited access to safe, engaging education that helps them navigate these realities.  

Traditional awareness campaigns often struggle to connect with young people. Lectures are forgotten. Pamphlets are discarded. Conversations about consent, respect, boundaries, healthy relationships, and gender equality remain difficult to start.  

GBV Awareness Journey changes that.  

GBV Awareness Journey is an innovative educational card game that transforms gender-based violence awareness into an engaging, interactive learning experience. Through storytelling, discussion, role-play, and reflection, players explore real-life scenarios, make choices, learn consequences, and develop the skills needed to build safer communities.
