Gerrida Runs for Rainbows

As I lace up my running shoes and feel the familiar flutter of excitement mixed with a hint of nervous anticipation, I'm reminded of why I do what I do. Running isn't just about clocking the kilometres or chasing personal records. It's about pushing boundaries, testing limits, and finding purpose in every step.

For me, running is a journey of self-discovery, a path where I find solace in the rhythm of my footsteps and strength in the beating of my heart. It's a journey that's taken me through highs and lows, victories and setbacks, but through it all, one thing remains constant: the power of purpose.

This year marks my 6th Comrades run, and as I prepare to tackle those daunting 85.91 kilometers, I do so with a fire burning in my soul and a mission driving me forward. Because, you see, my journey isn't just about me. It's about something much bigger, much more meaningful.
