My name is Ameerah! I am an inter-disciplinary artist and writer. Perhaps you know me from social media, or real life.

I have been working as an independent artist for some years, trying to find work and community within the Industry. It has been a battle, with little to no results. I have been on the brink of giving up often. Fortunately for me, my spirit is unbreakable. I think that I am ready to move on from this environment, and seek growth elsewhere.🪀

Finally, some good news. I have been accepted for a cultural exchange programme in Shanghai, where I will be working with kiddos to teach them Language and Art. I will also have the opportunity to learn Mandarin, which is pretty cool. 

I will live with a family who will host me and offer so many amazing exchanges of culture, wisdom and tradition. It will be my first time away from home, and out of the country, and I am super excited and hopeful to go.

This will not only be an opportunity for me to travel and explore, but also deepen my spiritual practice, research further in...
