My name is Julian Walsh,
I have been selected to represent South Africa at the 2026 World Rowing Under-23 Championships in Duisburg, Germany, from 23–26 July, where I will race in the men’s coxless four. In addition, Oxford Brookes University Boat Club has been invited to compete at the European University Rowing Championships in Zagreb, Croatia, from 26–29 August. Both Championships are entirely self-funded, and I would greatly appreciate your support in helping me get there.
I first picked up an oar in 2016 at the age of 12 while attending St John’s Preparatory School in Johannesburg.
