Get Rosh to Curious School of Puppetry

Hi Friends, Family and Fellow Artists, 

I’ve been accepted into the Curious School of Puppetry Two Month Intensive in London - eek!! I am absolutely gobsmacked that as a South African artist, I've been granted this opportunity, something I have wanted for as long as I can remember. 

This would be a powerful next step in my growth as a professional puppeteer, theatre-maker, and educator. This intensive will deepen my skills, expand my international connections, and directly feed back into the work I do in South Africa exploring my own work, teaching, directing, mentoring young artists, and building community through puppetry.

I've applied for multiple formal arts funding sources, I’ve been unsuccessful, and now I’m at crunch time. There is no external funding coming, but the opportunity remains.

This programme runs from the 19th of January to the 14th of March 2026. 

I am trying to raise R80,000 to contribute toward:

Travel costs (visa, insurance, flights etc.) 

Living expenses during the intensive (accommodation...
