Hi There

My name is Athena Japhta and I am the mom of Zineah Japhta. She is apart of Cape Town
Children’s Choir. She has been apart of this choir since November 2023 and really enjoys
singing (trust me, we have endless melodies in our home).
In 2025, the choir has the opportunity to attend the African Asia Pacific Choir Games which
will be held from 26 September 2025 - 05 October 2025.

2025 will also be the year the choir turns 5 years old.

I am currently raising funds for her to go on this great adventure with all of her friends and
have the opportunity to sing on a grand stage.
The estimated cost is between R40 000 - R50 000 per child, this is inclusive of all flights,
accommodation aswell as two meals a day.

As a parent, single at that, I have promised that any funds I raise, I will donate 15% of that
funds to the choir so that they can allocate it to a child who needs a helping hand to get them
on the trip.
