Only Days Left to Secure Transport for Two Rescued Lion Cubs
Two rescued lion cubs, Ben-Tzur and Ori, both almost one year old, are ready to come home right now. The only thing standing between them and a safe future at Panthera Africa Big Cat Sanctuary is the cost of bringing them from Israel to South Africa.
Ben-Tzur means “son of the rock”, a symbol of strength after a start to life no lion should ever endure. Ori means “my light”, symbolising wisdom, and was named in honour of an Israeli soldier who was fatally injured in the Middle East war.
