Girl & Arrow

Girl & Arrow is a community-driven initiative that provides essential self-care and hygiene packs to vulnerable school children. The project operates under two focus areas:

G.I.R.L. (Growing Into Radical Love) – supporting girls with age-appropriate hygiene and self-care products.

ARROW – supporting boys with essential hygiene and personal care items.

Our mission is simple: to restore dignity, build confidence, and provide hope through practical support.

Today, Girl & Arrow serves between 750 and 800 children every month through partnerships with schools and community organizations. These children are identified by educators and support structures who understand their circumstances and needs.

For many of these children, receiving a care pack means more than just receiving products. It means feeling seen. It means knowing that someone cares. It means having the confidence to participate in school and community life without the burden of going without basic necessities.

Each care pack costs approximately R70 per child, per month.
