We've set up this crowdfunding campaign out of a pressing need to raise R120,000.00.

Twenty-three years ago, our lives took a heart-wrenching turn when my father fell victim to cerebral malaria, an aggressive and life-threatening disease. The battle he fought during those long months in the hospital, including four months in a coma, was nothing short of a miracle. But the challenges didn't end there; my dad developed ARDS (Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome) during his coma, significantly diminishing his chances of survival.

When he finally awoke, the prognosis was disheartening. He was told he would never walk again. But my dad is a true fighter and refused to let this prediction dictate his future. For three years, he persevered, determined to regain his mobility, progressing from a wheelchair to crutches and ultimately to walking again. However, this victory came at a cost – he developed neuropathy in his legs, an enduring source of pain.

Years later, another cruel twist of fate befell...
