I'm requesting financial support on behalf of my parents and my grandmother to cover the cost of frail care for grandma. Grandma, a widow (age 90) has been living with us since grandpa died as she cannot afford to be on her own, nor is she able to afford living in a retirement complex. Her only source of income is a small pension of R4131 and the SASSA old age grant of R2400. 

Grandma recently broke her hip and had hip replacement surgery. She also has arthritis. She's been bedridden since the surgery and becoming weaker by the day. We cannot afford frail care or a nurse to assist us in taking care of her. Mom's basically become her 24/7 nurse.

Dad and I have both recently incurred the same right arm/shoulder injury while we were moving heavy furniture. Dad needs surgery in his shoulder, and I got an injection in mine, but neither of us are capable of physically assisting grandma. I am also on the Autism Spectrum, with ADHD, and as much as I try to help out with taking care of grandma, I'm not always able to.
