Support the Grassland Safari Lodge White Rhinoceros Conservation Project

At Grassland Safari Lodge, we are proud to run a dedicated white rhinoceros conservation project. Eight years ago, we started with just two rhinos — and thanks to careful management and unwavering commitment, our rhino population is steadily growing!

This has not been an easy journey. Relocating bulls to prevent inbreeding requires helicopters, trucks, veterinarians, and a skilled team — all at significant cost. Because white rhinos are critically endangered, we go above and beyond what’s typically done for other wildlife. For instance, during the dry months, we provide supplementary feed (such as lucerne) to ensure their survival.

Our conservation area is vast. While we patrol daily by vehicle, on foot, and on horseback, we are currently raising funds to purchase a small Bat Hawk light aircraft. This plane would greatly improve our ability to:
