CONCEPT:
It is widely acknowledged globally that the future of work lies in sustainability, commonly
referred to as "green" initiatives. Governments worldwide are urging private sectors to
prioritize environmental responsibility, aiming to minimize ecological footprints and even
reverse past damages. Despite these efforts, South Africa lags behind due to a primary
focus on meeting basic needs. Our proposal aims to ignite a shift in perspective among
high school students, urging them to address their needs while actively contributing to
environmental and societal welfare. Through an innovative blend of education and
entertainment ("edutainment"), we seek to inspire students to pursue careers within the
green economy and equip them with the necessary tools and information to initiate
tangible change.
OBJECTIVES:
The Green Graft Connection (GGC) initiative endeavours to engage and inform high
