In a community where the streets often offer more shadows than light, there is a place where the air is filled with the sound of laughter, the rhythmic thud of a ball, and the voice of a coach shouting encouragement. This is the home of  Gunners FC.For most, soccer is just a game. For Gunners, it is a lifeline.

We use soccer as the ultimate classroom. On our pitch, sportsmanship isn't a suggestion—it’s our foundation. Here, Junior and his teammates find opportunities for their mental, physical, social, and leadership development. They learn that true victory isn't just about the goals they score, but the resilience they show when they fall and the hand they extend to an opponent.

Many of our players arrive at practice having not eaten since the day before. It is hard to teach leadership and focus to a child who is fighting the fog of hunger. Furthermore, our equipment is failing; we are playing with worn-out balls and boots that have been patched more times than we can count.
